You're right, we are censoring things.

It's what we do, when we run a website.  However we're not

censoring anything at all like what you insinuate we are in your "article".

We closed the thread due to the highly abusive and personal nature of 

Petj's reply to a perfectly reasonable reply by Janika.  And this isn't

the first time - time and time again Petj has become personal and overly

defensive whenever someone dares question him or his posts.  We have proof 

of this - every post he's made is on the site, along with him screaming at

everyone who replied.  No matter how calm and civil the reply, he would

jump up and attack.

We've decided it's obvious - he's taking the piss.  No one can have

their heads stuck THAT FAR up their own arses surely?!  So we've 

deleted his account, and will privately archive all his posts.  

They're not worth having in public.  If he comes back to the site

we'll continue to delete his account and his posts.  If he's incapable 

of acting in a calm and mature manner then he's not welcome on WiccaUK.

If you spend more than 5 minutes on the site you'll see we have a wide

range of experience levels and paths - not just Wiccan, but all

varaities of neo-paganism and many other mainstream religions 

(including Christians).  We are, however, there for Wiccans to communicate

with other Wiccans.  We care not about what Priests of other religions 

get up to during their duties.  

Find a site which cares about such issues and bother them about it. 

We would have been happy to have the post there if Petj would have allowed

a sensible and open debate about it. However, he wasn't, so we wont.

In the slightest.  You're a joke amongst the pagan minority who even 

know you exist.  I really hope one day you can step back far enough to

look at yourselves, what you say on your website and how you treat

everyone else and realise how pathetic it really is.

I just dont understand it - you dont want Pagans to get along with

anyone else, you also seem not to want pagans to get along with each

other.  I'm just glad I've never met anyone else like you in my (few)

years as a practising Pagan.

PAN has better things to do than get embroiled in a futile cat fight with 

self-opinionated little bully boys that believe they have some 

special authority to kill off free debate on essential issues that concern all

'caring' Pagans.

Casparian is herein acting like a spoilt brat that has brought his football to the

park and is now taking it home again because the big children play to rough. 

His appalling behaviour in this matter is very reminiscent of the  same dictatorial 

techniques used by the the old PF Archbishops (to stifle all serious debate amongst

dissenters). They also believed that they had some sort of valid mandate to expel 

their own members without rhyme, reason or a fair right to reply. 

We do however commend Casparian for (oddly) admitting that his site is run on a basis

of strict 'censorship'. How democratic, how fair, how very liberal-minded and pagan!

When Petj tried to expand the discussion about Clergy Abuse Casparian's answer was:

Such blatant spite would be understandable coming from a fundie bible-basher

intent on saving poor pagan souls yet coming from the mouth of a person who claims

to uphold Wiccan liberties and  freedom it is utterly deplorable!

Wiccauk members should be asking themselves: 

 How will 'they'  be treated by this pompous tyrant if they dare to instigate a sensitive topic 

that 'he'  apparently wishes to bury under the carpet? Will he 'excommunicate' everyone, like Petj, who 

simply tried to inject some sort of adult discussion into the proceedings? 

Does Casparian treat all of his members with such vitriolic contempt and hatred? 

Incidentally, Petj has forwarded copies of his correspondences with Wiccauk forum to PAN.

After carefully studying these items we truly believe that Petj's  efforts were

admirable, selfless and his objectives noble. He has done no more than try hard 

to raise vital subjects which every Pagan/Wiccan should be made fully aware of. 

He has never resorted to bad language or abusive behaviour  and he has even had

sincere 'apologies' from other site members that have insulted him after failed to originally 

understand his well-meant comments. 

An observation. After studying the quaint yet frequently immature site content of

Wiccauk we can see one clear problem.

They appear to try and appeal largely to a very young, teenage readership and the general 

interest on their 'forums' usually seems to revolve around ineffectual subjects like daft

TV shows such as 'Buffy the Vampire slayer' or 'Charmed'. PAN suggests that rather than vent his

spleen on us, Casparian should first look within and think very hard indeed about his 

certain responsibilities to these newcomers. 

People who try to run neo-pagan style websites should be doing their bit 

to alert their trusting members about the spectre of more fundie attacks against our faith

systems not playing silly games and attacking hard-working voluntary 

organisations like PAN that have been doing no more that reporting the basic 

anti-defamation facts for others to freely read for many years. 

By ignorantly insulting PAN Casparian demeans the noble efforts of thousands of PAN (and SAFF)

volunteers who have freely given  their valuable time, donations  and energies for

the campaign to aid fellow pagans. He such also realise that if it were not for the earlier efforts 

of these committed people then he and all other pagans would 'not '

be enjoying the freedoms in society which so many  now take for granted. 

THE CARING WICCAN? 

The question is, why are people like Casparian so afraid to address real 

social issues that affect pagans today? Who is he trying to protect? 

He's certainly not defending, or even caring, about innocent victims of Clergy Abuse! 

His above ill-thought out comments are unbelievable and should 

sound alarm bells in all pagan ears! 

Casparian arrogantly blurts out: 

"We care not about what  priests of other religions get up to during their duties."

So there we have it guys; the boss of Wiccauk has no sympathy whatsoever for the

 hundreds of kids that get horribly abused by Xtian priests.

Is this incredibly immature  diatribe backed up by 'all' members/moderators  on Wiccauk 

or is Casparian just blowing out his own disgusting hot air? The mind boggles! 

Moreover, he uses the word "We" herein like a blunt instrument to bash his perceived adversaries (us) 

with yet surely many freethinkers on his 'Wiccan' site will disagree with his crass comment? 

If not, then the rot runs deeper than it first appears! 

Ye Gods, even certain 'Christian' groups have been set up to care/campaign 

 for survivors of this type of priestly abuse yet uncaring Casparian dismisses/censors  the whole  situation

  with an imperial flick of the wrist that would do Caesar credit.  

PAN has 'not' has any conceivable dealing before with this sanctimonious

little upstart. Furthermore, we have only printed what we have received from Petj (and Casparian) 

in good faith to 'warn' others about this worrying turn of events. For our troubles 

we received the above tirade from a person who 'should' know better in his position. 

We wonder, where was this self-righteous Casparian chump when SAFF and PAN were

helping so many innocent victims of SRAM? Where was he when the social services and 

police (acting on evangelical directives) were ripping up innocent pagan families 

and costing the taxpayer millions during the height of the last Satanic

Ritual Abuse Myth? Where was he when we opposed the late Geoffrey dickens MP,

who almost succeeded in outlawing witchcraft in the UK? Where was he when anti-occultist

 campaigner,  Lord  David Alton recently tried to re-float SRAM  in parliament again recently?  

We could go on indefinitely.

And he thinks that 'we' are a joke? What a serial plonker - don't make us laugh! 

Casparian then goes on to accuse PAN of not wanting pagans to "get along with anyone else".

This ill-founded yet rather 'curious' comment would seem to indicate that he takes issue

with our provably accurate stance over dangerously naive Pagans liaising at interfaith

Again, we have a plethora of evidence on our site to categorically

prove what we say. 

Missionary activity on Wiccan sites 

Self-admittedly, Casparian uses his site to promote interest in other

faiths, "including Christianity." Does this include the promotion of 'Spreading the Gospel'

to the so-called 'unchurched' (in this instance 'Pagans') as this is the primary aim of Christianity is it not?

How far has missionary evangelism progressed on his particular 'Wiccan' website?  

Moreover, does anyone there really know or even care! 

We ask these important questions as many so-called 'Pagan' websites have stupidly been

hoodwinked into opening their doors to clandestine evangelical organisations/outreaches 

(including the massive ALPHA COURSE.  Xtian sleepers  are riff on pagan websites

and every occultist should be fully aware that they have a biblical agenda to either 

gain new converts or alternatively create chaos, via proven methods on such sites. 

PAN'S interfaith stance

We have stated many times before that interfaith between 'tolerant' faiths is a

very 'good' thing for paganism, yet not however with theocratic regimes that exist to infiltrate, 

then suppress paganism, via tried and tested missionary stealth tactics. Our site is chock full of such

examples of this evangelical missionary activity so we will not labour this

particular point here. 

Casparian's own abusively childish words (which, unlike him, we have 'not' censored) 

prove that paganism is still sadly attracting a self-righteous minority of naive fools

that would be better off checking their own erroneous credentials before browbeating

others who work tirelessly for the larger pagan community.

Wiccauk site 'could' (with original insight) be a brilliant platform for 

serious debate, greater enlightenment and real education for the pagan community.

PAN applauds any such pagan endeavours wholeheartedly, yet without genuine maturity

 and concepts of freedom they will always doomed to be futile gestures and nothing more than 

trendy playgrounds for small egos that want to be heard above  the crowd. 

Members on Wiccauk - are YOU getting the representation you

 truly deserve? 

Addendum: PAN would be delighted to hear from any other pagans/occultists who have received

 the same sort of dictatorial treatment as Petj.
