PAN. is a serious Pagan anti-defamation body formed for the peaceful defence of the Pagan religion and other religious minorities. Following the atrocious Satanic abuse hoax cases that spread like wildfire throughout the U.K. (& of course the U.S.A.), many innocent practitioners of minority religions suffered terrible victimisation including arson, death threats, beatings etc. The fanatical Evangelical groups, who were the original instigators of the myth, have been proved to be responsible for the institutionalised abuse of families and the dreadful breaches of Human Rights of many innocent Pagans and Witches. The media quickly acted to join in the 'Witch-hunt'. Politicians and dignitaries who didn't actually act against Pagans merely turned a blind eye in the despicable medieval-style attack on modern Paganism.

Pagans who remained ignorant and uninformed during the Satanic hoaxes merely brushed it all off as a simple social mistake that somehow did not concern them and that would eventually go away. This unfortunately couldn't be further from the truth. There was and still is, a deep-rooted campaign in society to discredit and outlaw ALL alternative religions and philosophies. The Evangelically inspired plan, with their "DECADE OF EVANGELISM" seeks to halt the progress and effectively ban the growth and continuance of all new religious movements. Fundamentalists regard ALL other faiths as being SATANICALLY INSPIRED and their own to be the only true religion. They are driven by a blind biblical doctrine and their intolerant bigotry has affected all levels of our society. Active fundamentalists hold high office in all decision-making departments of education, government, police, social services, health etc. All other religions have been infiltrated by their treacherous quest to gain converts-"Jews for Jesus" being but one small example. The media have lapped up their lies against the Pagan religions like a fly around a honey pot, making Pagan rights an absolute laughing stock.

Bogus Evangelical information to Police; Social Services; children's charities; media etc. led directly to the growth of the Satanic abuse myth. Please do not be mistaken into thinking that one only needs to inform fundamentalists that they are in error regarding Pagan aims and tenets. These clever fanatics often know more about modern Pagan beliefs than genuine practitioners do. In order to move forward from this awfully intolerant situation, minorities must first know who their real adversaries are, and turn frustration into knowledge and effective coordinated action.

One person armed with the correct information is all that it takes to quash an obnoxious fundamentalist-led media campaign aimed at the New Age etc. When things go wrong in society it is evident that minorities always get the blame, and Pagans have been the scapegoat for social ills for far too long. The Satanic abuse hoax cases were totally avoidable, however whilst the country was bitten with Witch-hunt fever, over 200 DOCUMENTED CASES OF CHRISTIAN CLERGY ABUSE (INCLUDING TORTURE & MURDER) ACTUALLY OCCURRED (source: SAFF HQ Leeds.) Nobody suggested that Christianity was evil or should be outlawed as was proclaimed with Wicca by anti-occult MPs like David Alton and the late Geoffrey Dickens etc. As usual the authorities turned a blind eye. INSTILLED IN US FROM BIRTH, the mediaeval Christian Witch stereotype of the hag on the broomstick is still fed to children in the classroom. Subversive fundamentalist groups exist in all localities, and often uninformed Pagans don't realise this until it's too late. These groups gain local moral high-ground, then dramatically alter the social structure in their area by starting misleading campaigns in the local press on any topic that is contrary to their biblical doctrine and requires (in their eyes) Christian censorship.

Recently the Vatican propaganda merchants have started an insidious blood-libel against Paganism by blaming us for the Nazi-Holocaust. Whole sections of secular society have taken on this preposterous lie as if it's a fact of life. This is the type of situation your religion is in right now so please get with it and lend us a hand before you lose all your rights to FUNDIE CENSORSHIP!

The way forward must be by solidarity and coordinated cooperation, this is the basis for the origin of PAN. Educate uninformed practitioners of religious minority groups as to the facts and reasons behind fundamentalist prejudice and the extremist organisations who cause it.

2) TO

Collect information and data for usage in the defence of religious minorities (i.e. in media campaigns against the oppressive anti-Occult, anti-New Age actions of local fundamentalist pressure organisations and their supporters.)

3) TO

Seek to coordinate individual Pagans, Pagans groups and other religious minorities thereby helping them to become more pro-active in the defence of their own faiths.

4) TO

Provide information on genuine Pagan beliefs, customs and traditions to unenlightened parties in the; media, Government, Police, Social Services, Health Authorities, schools etc.

5) TO

Network with other Pagan parties with a view to monitoring suppressive fundamentalist activity wherever it may be found.

6) TO

Expose the fundamentalist inspired Satanic Ritual Abuse Myth, thereby helping to save tax payers millions of pounds during Satanic fiascos, stopping more avoidable Police dawn raids on innocent families, and protecting the honour and dignity of Pagan people throughout the land.

7) TO

Peacefully halt the flow of bigotry and prejudice against Paganism/occulitism, wherever it may be found.
