BBC1 TV, January 2006 screened a watershed programme concerning the terrible authoritarian excesses that ripped innocent families apart and threw frightened and bewildered little children into institutional care.

The true dangers to ordinary families, everywhere, from religious hatemongering was never emphasised better than in the BBC’s watershed documentary (January 2006) on Rochdale’s satanic abuse sham. The link we give below accentuates this full and avoidable fundamentalist-instigated social disaster in full. The program: ‘When Satan Came to Town’ was of course most distressing and yet highly revealing. It illustrated exactly what can happen to everyday folk when the 'powers that be' get it wrong and go into terminal overdrive, resulting in the destruction of peaceful family lives. Sixteen years on after the odious Rochdale satanic ritual abuse lifts, the children can no longer be gagged by authorities who want to bury their numerous and distressing mistakes. This cutting-edge BBC show however conveyed only a ‘fraction’ of the real story and now there can be NO more hollow excuses!
Radical social workers and police, acting of erroneous information conveyed to them from fanatical religious groups, mounted dawn raids on blameless families. Society in general was unfortunately quick to swallow this myth. Distressed youngsters were interrogated relentlessly by the authorities and kept away from their families for great periods of time. All this insanity was highly avoidable – it should ‘never’ have happened!

At long last, after years of unrelenting pressure from SAFF and PAN, society is finally starting to get the message! We have been shouting out loud and clear about ALL the disgusting satanic abuse fiascos that has swept the globe for ages. We have for decades freely provided the authorities, police media and public at large with a plethora of vital information that would now clearly have helped protect many innocent children from the unnecessary attentions of radical social workers and therapists acting on ludicrous misinformation gleaned from wacky seminars, organised by Christian fundamentalist groups, intent on finding satanic adversaries - at all costs.

A personal review of this documentary from a concerned parent
The programme told viewers of a number of Rochdale families who had their lives ripped apart by radical social workers hell-bent on seeking factual evidence of Satanic Ritual Abuse. It showed some of the children, now grown up and they spoke about the physical pain and torture they had to endure with medical investigations with no parent present, the emotional pain and humiliation with questioning from social workers and the months/years of being split from their parents, siblings and the lives they knew.
According to the programme the children were ripped out of their homes in dawn raids, taken to a place of safety where they had their clothes taken away, put into bin bags for disposal, after which they were bathed and scrubbed with scrubbing brushes because they were dirty! These families had done nothing wrong, they loved their children but Social Workers saw an opportunity to prove otherwise and to hell what the evidence showed-they would just turn it around to suit their needs and they did just that.
Factual questioning from the social workers during interviews was shown. The questioning was disgraceful, it showed how social workers put words into children’s mouths and completely disregarded the children’s emotions and pleas to go home or see their families. One girl told how she wrote letters to her parents which never reached them, her mother said she also had written her daughter letters but they never reached her either. One small child was shown sobbing uncontrollably whilst a social worker continued to hold an ‘interview’. Whilst she begged and pleaded for her brother it fell on deaf ears.
No evidence was found, yet lives were ruined, children’s personalities destroyed by months and years of ‘social work abuse’, yet the social workers responsible STILL have their jobs! Why?
Why was this abuse allowed to happen in the name of ‘Social work’?
Why do the children now have to seek a solicitor to gain an apology from the social workers?
This sort of torture MUST NEVER be allowed to happen again. Social Workers MUST be held accountable for their actions, and interviews held with children MUST be done in a professional and caring manner with as little physical and emotional pain to the child as possible.
Every loving and committed parent should ask for, no insist that these Social Workers be made responsible for their actions back in Rochdale, if they are not then where is the justice for the children involved in this fiasco and when is the ‘social work abuse’ going to stop?

We must now ask - how long before the NEXT satanic panic occurs. The authorities, that assure us that 'guidelines' have been improved since the Rochdale disaster, actually appear to have learned very little in fact when we check out this unbelievable recent comment below from the Manchester Evening News:
Earlier this week Terry Piggott, Rochdale council's executive director for children, schools and families, said:
"I cannot see how the interests of today's challenges of protecting children will be served by re-examining cases that are 15 years old."
