Interfaith vicar who  was ‘invited’ to the Pagan Federation’s annual bash faces possible prison sentence over child porn charges

The media have recently reported that Rev Richard Thomas, 56, admitted that he downloaded 119 images, most of which were considered less severe. However, a handful of the pictures were classed as level 5, the most severe category. He maintained he had done it inadvertently. The former adviser to the Bishop of Oxford was told by a judge that he faces a jail sentence after pleading guilty to making and possessing indecent images of children.

Following this odious revelation we now believe him to be an utter hypocrite and morally bankrupt. Does this man actually enjoy watching children being sexually abused? How confident should we be therefore in listening to  his charismatic opinions on Christo/Pagan interfaith liaison? Moreover, why exactly are the Pagan Federation permitting untested, unworthy, hypocrites like this into our fold? The smug PF junta as we know, incredibly invited the Church of England’s Rev Richard Thomas as a guest speaker to their annual conference in 2004.

The poor old PF do seem to be overly gullible and far too trusting as we have shown many times in the past. However, their previous sterling support for inviting such  fundamentalist agitators into our midst may be more questionable that even we at first thought possible. Can we actually trust their insights into 'anything' after we observe this alarming news concerning this top ranker linked to the Diocese of Oxford?

Are we to still believe this vicar's promises now or is he the missionary in sheep's clothing PAN has always suspected and warned about?

Let's face it - if a Pagan had been arrested for child pornography the clergy would be lining up to say that it was solid evidence that Paganism and the occult promotes wholesale child abuse!

The fact that children are at definite risk from renegade clergy was proven a decade ago by the SAFF. Check this link for details:

The mega-foolish PF actually 'welcome' Trojan Horses like Thomas into our fold. We reiterate that we did warn about this but many Pagan were to 'clever' to listen to us. Please get up to speed on events by surfing these links:

PAN also reported that The Telegraph on line quoted  Rev Thomas as clearly stating: “The occult is dangerous” when talking about the popular HARRY POTTER film.

We were told that such ‘nice’ friendly individuals like Rev Thomas (advisor to the Bishop of Oxford who is himself an arch anti-Pagan activist and once went on record as blaming the troubles in Northern Ireland on Paganism) could not possibly be any threat to the Old Religion and that his invitation to the November annual PF conference was a good thing.

According to them he was nothing but an absolutely jolly good chap who only wanted to ‘share’ his religious outlook with Pagans. Incidentally, Thomas previously received  a £1,000 ($1,700.00) a month bursary from the Ecclesiastical insurance group to help him ‘study’ modern Paganism.

The PF  should IMMEDIATELY distance themselves from this clergyman and make their views 'public' regarding the disgusting  things he has done 'before' his apologists begin to use the old historical subterfuge of claiming that he was drawn  into child pornography from studying Paganism!

Addendum:

Interestingly, as soon as this PAN report hit the headlines our guestbook was actually spammed with offensive abuse by a few of the more intellectually - challenged plastic Pagan dictators who presumably thought that this story should for some strange reason be immediately 'hushed up' Vatican - style. Now who these obnoxious cowards actually are and 'why' they wish to bury the truth is currently unknown yet we are sure it's quite easy to put two and two together herein. Incidentally, we also note that the topic of clergy abuse has been something in the past which other sanctimonious little bully boy  wannabees have tried to censor from their readership.

Fascinating!
